Splash-o-matic GCK-O
A short-range shooter known for zero spread and fast shots. It's good at painting too, and the base version with Burst Bomb and Crab Tank is considered a jack-of-all-trades that handles every range. The GCK-O leans toward disruption with Toxic Mist and Ink Storm, and the Neo leans toward area control with Suction Bomb and Triple Inkstrike.

Best stages / Worst stages
Strengths
- Zero spread on the ground or in the air, plus fast shots, so it reliably hits where you aim
- No wasted overlapping paint from spread, so it's efficient at making straight paths and cleaning up your side
- Jump shots stay just as accurate, so jumping mid-fight or ambushing from above is strong
- The base version adds chip damage and finishers with Burst Bomb, and reaches distant or hidden enemies with Crab Tank
- Lightweight and mobile, with lots of freedom in gear builds
Watch out for
- Modest range and damage with an average TTK, so it can't bully its way through like the Splattershot or .52 Gal
- Because it's so accurate, a missed aim just misses, so your aiming skill shows directly in the results
- Hard to deal with mid- and long-range weapons hitting you from outside your range
- Leaning too much on Burst Bomb tanks your ink efficiency fast
- Crab Tank is slow and not very durable, so it's weak when attacked from the side or back, or when a Charger targets it
Tips
- Land a Burst Bomb before shooting in a 1v1 to make your main's splat much faster
- Burst Bomb into a Crab Tank cannon shot is a strong combo. Use Sub Power Up to match the bomb's throw range
- When breaking a hold or when your position is known, don't force a dive. Prioritize painting to build Crab Tank
- Use Crab Tank from farther back, and remember that it moves faster sideways than forward and can curl up to recover durability
