Annaki Splattershot Nova
A paint/support shooter with good ink efficiency for its range and fast movement while firing. At 24 damage per shot it's a five-shot kill with poor accuracy, and it struggles to get splats on its own, so its job is to keep painting under enemies' feet to help teammates. The base Splattershot Nova is a pure support kit with Point Sensor + Killer Wail 5.1, and the Annaki Splattershot Nova runs Ink Mine + Inkjet for a more combat-focused kit.

Strengths
- Good ink efficiency for its range, and its run speed while firing is as fast as the Sploosh-o-matic's
- Strong paint at the tip of its range and at your feet, so you can keep taking away enemies' footing
- Little end lag after firing, so it's nimble for a longer-range shooter
- The base version shuts down short-range lurkers with Point Sensor and bothers out-of-range enemies with Killer Wail
- The Annaki guards routes in with Ink Mine and can go after high-ground or long-range enemies itself with Inkjet
Watch out for
- Low per-shot damage means a five-shot kill and a slow TTK
- Spread kicks in from the very first shot, so hits at max range are unreliable
- It almost never wins fights inside the enemy's range, and it has little power to swing the game alone
- Wins depend a lot on how your teammates are doing, and it often gets compared to weapons that fill the same role, like the Dualie Squelchers
- Low object damage, so even breaking placed objects like Sprinklers takes a while
Tips
- Avoid 1v1s. When you see a teammate in a fight, back them up right away with zoning shots, paint under the enemy, or a sensor
- Scout with your main's paint as much as possible, and save Point Sensor for truly suspicious spots to conserve ink
- Use Killer Wail early to back up teammates in fights. Once you're comfortable, fire it from the enemy's flank to catch them in a pincer
- Not getting splatted comes first. Draw enemy attention while staying alive to make things easier for your team
