Luna Blaster Neo
The shortest-range Blaster, but it fires faster and has bigger blasts, making it built for close range. One direct hit or two blast hits splats, and it excels at ambushes over ledges and cover. The base version makes up for its short range with Splat Bomb and Zipcaster, and the Neo with Fizzy Bomb and Ultra Stamp.

Strengths
- One direct hit or two blast hits splats, and it has the fastest fire rate among one-shot Blasters
- Big blasts let you damage enemies behind ledges and walls without them being able to hit back
- Its range is just right for blasting the top of the Tower from the ground, so it's great at controlling the area around the Tower
- Splat Bomb and Zipcaster let you reach enemies outside your range
Watch out for
- Shortest range of any Blaster, so it can't fight longer-range enemies head-on
- Weak painting and poor ink efficiency make it hard to paint your own path forward
- When an enemy is right on top of you, blasts won't hit and you're stuck relying on direct hits, and your post-shot end lag is easy to punish
- Struggles against Dualies that close the gap in one dodge roll (especially the Dapple Dualies family)
Tips
- Don't fight head-on. Land your first shot with a lurking ambush or from the side or behind
- Blast enemies over ledges and around corners while showing yourself as little as possible
- Blasts won't hit if you get too close, so don't close the distance too much
- Splat Bomb uses a lot of ink, so don't throw so many that you miss chances to splat
