Sploosh-o-matic
It has one of the shortest ranges in the game, but its strong paint and top-tier mobility let it dive into the enemy side, and it's built for ambush splats. The base Sploosh-o-matic runs Curling Bomb and Ultra Stamp to go cause chaos on its own, while the Neo Sploosh-o-matic runs Squid Beakon and Killer Wail 5.1 to work with teammates.

Strengths
- Fast fire rate plus the update's bigger hitbox means it splats quickly once enemies are in range
- Each shot paints a lot, so you can cover the area in front of and around you in an instant
- It's a lightweight weapon and its swim acceleration is faster than other weapons', so it gets to flanks and ambushes very quickly
- Among the fastest at popping the Rainmaker's shield, and among the fastest when carrying the Rainmaker
- The base version's strong paint and low special cost let it use Ultra Stamp very often
Watch out for
- Its range and accuracy are among the worst in the game, so it's very weak in fights where both sides can see each other
- It struggles against close-range specialists like Rollers and Brushes, and against weapons with equal or better TTK and more range: the .52 Gal, H-3 Nozzlenose, and Dapple Dualies
- Its short range can't paint tall walls, and its mobility doesn't help on unpaintable floors or grates
- It has few options besides ambushes, and the more you're losing, the less you can do
- Even when riding the Tower, its short range makes it easy to shoot down
Tips
- Don't fight head-on. Lurk, then splat enemies who are fighting your teammates from the side or behind
- Swim for a moment after a few shots to keep your spread small while you fight
- Sending a Curling Bomb straight ahead puts enemies on alert, so use it to make paths out of their sight or to cut off escape routes
- Don't force Ultra Stamp charges. Throw it to hit high-ground or long-range enemies

An aggressive kit: Curling Bomb opens fast paths for flanking and cutting off escapes, and the quick-charging Ultra Stamp lets you charge in or throw it at enemies on high ground.Recent changes
